Eddie's gone.Once my co-worker, always a friend to me and eventually to my family, Eddie flashed into my life and thousands of others -- a gentle, funny, gifted soul, an incomparable human treasure to those of us who knew him.
Eddie lost his life last night, in a motorcycle crash on I-75 in Atlanta. Mrs. KintlaLake, the saddest of messengers, brought me the news this afternoon.
