It's official -- Sen. Barack Obama has tapped Sen. Joe Biden to be his running mate.Most of what I have to say about this, I said a few days ago. For Sen. Obama and the Democratic Party, choosing Sen. Biden appears to be a smart play. For those of us who treasure our Second Amendment rights, it's disturbing news. A lot can (and will) happen over the next 73 days, including Sen. John McCain's choice of a running mate and both parties' conventions in just the next two weeks.
